If you are experiencing issues with Cresta, here are some basic troubleshooting tips to improve performance right away:
If you are loading Cresta in a Chrome Browser
- First go to this debug page www.{customer}.cresta.com/debug and check if there are any dependencies that are blocked/fail. All items should check “green”. If you see “red” checkmarks, it means that there is something in the agent's environment blocking connection to one of the services that Cresta needs to function properly
- Refresh your page!
- Clear the cache and cookies on your browser to refresh the session (if using Chrome)
- Log out and log back in to Cresta
- Re-start your browser
- Make sure your browser and systems are up to date
- Restart your computer
- Close out any background programs or extra browser tabs and windows
- Check if the issue occurs in Chrome Incognito (or private) browsing mode as well. If it doesn't, there is something local to your browser that might be causing the issue. In that case, contact your local IT team.
If you are loading Cresta using an App
- First go to this debug page www.{customer}.cresta.com/debug and check if there are any dependencies that are blocked/fail. All items should check “green”. If you see “red” checkmarks, it means that there is something in the agent's environment blocking connection to one of the services that Cresta needs to function properly
- Restart the App
- Log out and log back in from Cresta
- Make sure you are on the latest version of the App- your manager can help confirm
These above steps help clear out any errors or issues happening in the background to help your system run more smoothly.
When all else fails, please use the Issue Reporting Template to collect details of the issue and contact your Supervisor/your Service Desk who will help route the request accordingly.
